Very good, lightweight IM client. With that said, I think a lot of people (myself included) prefer Pidgin because it supports more features in many protocols such as the OSCAR protocol. File transfers, for example, are functional in Pidgin. Miranda is very customizable but you've got to put a lot of work into it to get it up and running.

I am simply amazed that a program of such refined quality is being released as freeware, and I applaud the authors for it.
This is not only the best freeware FTP client I've used but rather the best FTP client period. It's beautiful and full-featured. I wish I could give it more than a 5 but I guess 5 will have to do.

BeOS is nice, but its a bit early to start making conclusions. "Beos rocks? windows sucks?" get a life. until i can play Quake3 on beOS, theres no way im using it as my primary operating system. it doesn't support my internal modem either. uck. i like it... it has all kinds of useful stuff in it, but in a lot of ways its just a cross between windows and macOS. some people might like the fact that its a pain in the a** to load things from mounted drives, but i thought it was a bit annoying. ill stick with litestep for now.

hate to break it to you guys like this, but america introduced you to the internet. it started in UCLA and it was dubbed "Arpanet" until college students realized they could use it to communicate with students in other colleges. We were just nice enough to share it with you... and you are ignorant enough to bite the hand that feeds you.

okay.... you guys are a bit off-topic. what the hell does what you just said have to do with a fake story about windows being recalled?
