  6. Comment - Why is Microsoft buying Skype?

    2.57 Build 1047 Beta (May 11, 2011 - 9:05 AM)

I think MS had one of those genius moments. I am pretty sure that with the next WP7 update, Skype will be integrated and it could also be the default communication medium if your phone is in say a WIFI zone...it will save you minutes on your plan which can save you money !!!

  9. Comment - Make Firefox 4 work for you

    2.57 Build 1047 Beta (Mar 28, 2011 - 4:10 PM)

IE9 or Opera 11 are much better and way ahead of FF4. The crux of the problem with FF has always been that out of the box it's pretty much useless. You need to have a minimum of 4-5 extensions to make it useful. And FF4 is so sluggish...it's a pain. Looks like IE9 / Chrome will just kill FF.

    So long FF.

  10. Comment - Firefox 4 takes back the web from IE9 -- 6 million downloads in first 24 hours

    2.57 Build 1047 Beta (Mar 23, 2011 - 2:36 PM)

unless you are a dev, why would want the headache of messing around with multiple versions. Even as a developer, my FF profiles gets screwed up from time to time.

BTW, you can have multiple versions of Opera running (yes profiles), but Opera profiles have been pretty solid, probably because you don't need extensions for Opera, everything is baked right in.
