3.0.182.2 Beta (May 29, 2009)
I've found this latest version unusable due, entirely to the small font used on the interface.
BTW way how can google jump a full version number in only a week without releasing a full version? (only a week ago the current version was 2.0.181.1 and now we have version 3 ??????)
1.1.061 Beta (Jan 23, 2008)
Works fine for me. Accepted the Forum details, allowed me to select the geoups I wanted and then downloaded the posts without any problems. Great program.
Only rating it 4 because there are areas that could be improved, but the program seems to be unique. The only similar offering I could find is Web Forum Reader - and that doesn't allow you to post on the boards, only read.
With a bit more work, and some interface improvements, this program will be a 'must have'
Beta 2 (May 24, 2006)
Glad it's not just me. I know my Internet connection is working because Outlook 2007 will send and receive EMail, but the Activation Wizard claims it can't find a connection.
Anyone solved this yet? If not, Outlook will last about a week!

CPUGuy - you have a point about patches, they should always be kept up to date. Firewalls don't help much with this one tho', we suspect that some of our users have brought the worm in on laptops which they have plugged into the network. If the source is inside the defences, the firewall aint going to stop it!

Robbery is a good subject for this thread .. using Windows, with all its flaws, loopholes and back-doors, is like handing a total stranger the keys to your house and saying 'I'm going away for a week, help yourself!'.
Seriously, there are many of us who would love to use something other than MS. The trouble is that MS has such a stranglehold on the market that if anything threatening does begin to appear, they either buy it and kill it or sue it out of business in the courts (because THEY can afford it, struggling new businesses can't!)

Yep. This is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Thanks. Unfortunately it doesn't work. The browse button in the download basket does nothing, and whatever path I specify for the download, I get a message saying that either the path doesn't exist or I don't have sufficient rights (The path DOES exist and I have ADMIN rights on the computer).

Sounds reasonable. Microsoft thinks I've already installed the update. Any way to convince it otherwise?

Is there any way to download this update without installing? I want to grab it to install on a laptop that doesn't have an Internet connection.
