i haven't been able to run canary or betas since december. it worked fine, then one day canary wouldn't load pages anymore. i've read a lot of forums, some peeps have the same problem, some don't. perplexing.

a thousand apologies for not remembering which, i installed pale moon on a 32 bit system and a 64 bit system. one or the other smoked, while one was comparable to the nightly. but try it, you may be very pleasantly surprised.

1065 has been out for a whole day. someone at betanews is slackin'! by far and away the best browser.

that's not even close to a lucid analogy. i can only assume you work for a tablet manufacturer. or mommy and daddy bought you one to show off to your bff's. at any rate, your infantile response speaks volumes to your inferior intellect.

there's simply no reason for an individual to buy a tablet of any brand for any reason. if you're in a manufacturing environment, or a hospital, doctor's office, maybe there's an application. but if it doesn't include a phone and fit in my pocket (san francisco guys can maybe put one in their purse), i won't be buying one.

there's a much better selection of dvd's versus streaming only. i won't pay netflix any more than i do now, so if i had to make a choice, i'd choose dvd's.
12.00.1065 Beta (Jun 26, 2011 - 9:00 AM)
pale moon is a terrific browser, though i haven't tried it since the early developers' editions. i can't recall which, but on either my 32 bit or 64 bit machine, pale moon was very noticeably faster than the ff nightly. and on one or the other, there didn't seem to be much difference. regardless, great project, and well worth a try.

macs are absolutely no more secure than the pc. if macs had 90 percent of the os share, they'd be every bit as constantly under attack. if you're a malware writer (the lowest one celled life form on earth), why waste your time on 10 percent of the market?
