  1. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    26.0.1403.0 Dev (Feb 5, 2013)

i haven't been able to run canary or betas since december. it worked fine, then one day canary wouldn't load pages anymore. i've read a lot of forums, some peeps have the same problem, some don't. perplexing.

    16.4.1734.1104 (Dec 12, 2012)

yes! i had noticed raw files weren't showing up in windows explorer, but i had slacked and forgotten all about it. viola! with this codec pack, raws are showing up again. thanks!

  4. Review - Pale Moon

    9.1 (Jan 24, 2012)

a thousand apologies for not remembering which, i installed pale moon on a 32 bit system and a 64 bit system. one or the other smoked, while one was comparable to the nightly. but try it, you may be very pleasantly surprised.

  5. Review - Opera (32-bit) for Windows

    12.00.1065 Beta (Sep 14, 2011)

1065 has been out for a whole day. someone at betanews is slackin'! by far and away the best browser.

  6. Comment - Can Sony sell a tablet you'd really want to buy? [poll]

    12.00.1065 Beta (Jul 17, 2011 - 5:21 PM)

that's not even close to a lucid analogy. i can only assume you work for a tablet manufacturer. or mommy and daddy bought you one to show off to your bff's. at any rate, your infantile response speaks volumes to your inferior intellect.

  7. Comment - Can Sony sell a tablet you'd really want to buy? [poll]

    12.00.1065 Beta (Jul 17, 2011 - 12:31 PM)

there's simply no reason for an individual to buy a tablet of any brand for any reason. if you're in a manufacturing environment, or a hospital, doctor's office, maybe there's an application. but if it doesn't include a phone and fit in my pocket (san francisco guys can maybe put one in their purse), i won't be buying one.

  8. Comment - How much more are you willing to pay Netflix?

    12.00.1065 Beta (Jul 12, 2011 - 6:23 PM)

there's a much better selection of dvd's versus streaming only. i won't pay netflix any more than i do now, so if i had to make a choice, i'd choose dvd's.

  9. Comment - Pale Moon 5 outshines sibling Firefox 5

    12.00.1065 Beta (Jun 26, 2011 - 9:00 AM)

pale moon is a terrific browser, though i haven't tried it since the early developers' editions. i can't recall which, but on either my 32 bit or 64 bit machine, pale moon was very noticeably faster than the ff nightly. and on one or the other, there didn't seem to be much difference. regardless, great project, and well worth a try.

  10. Comment - Can it be 8 out of 10 Mac owners don't use anti-malware software?

    12.00.1065 Beta (May 26, 2011 - 10:04 AM)

macs are absolutely no more secure than the pc. if macs had 90 percent of the os share, they'd be every bit as constantly under attack. if you're a malware writer (the lowest one celled life form on earth), why waste your time on 10 percent of the market?
