   Review - VMware Server for Windows

   1.0 Build 28343 (Jul 12, 2006)

   Works great. My only problem is a tendancy to have guests move into hyperspeed, but this is related to hardware compatibilities. I've been using it since the first betas and it's been rock solid.
   
   To those who compare this to VIrtual PC and VMware Workstation, stop. THis is SERVER software, it runs all the time as a service with Guests running even after the console is closed, its designed to. The other two are workstation products and run as applications.

   Budgie29: Its a BETA from a US company, they usualy are US English Only... GET OVER IT.
   
   Otherwise, pretty good. Don't use any other Yahoo services though so alot isn't userful to me...

3. Comment - AMD Chips in Dell Servers by Year's End

   My understanding is this is only for 4P systems initially, where even intels Woodcrest are still going to suck due to FSB bandwidth issues.
   
   They will probably start with Socket F systems as well and can go through quad cores and K8L as well.
