  1. Review - G3 Torrent

    0.999a (Jan 20, 2005)

I have been trying to find a client that produces a constant flow of throughput(down\up), doesn't take up a lot of overhead and displays it's options in a very simple to read format.......G3 Torrent is that client. Accessing the same Tracker with only one Torrent, G3 outperforms Azureus(basic plugins) and BitComet. I also noticed when I adjusted my Global TCP Receive Window to 131400 throughput improved for all the Torrent clients mentioned. I am definitely looking forward to further G3 development.

  2. Review - SuperBot

    3.10.0039A (Jan 13, 2003)

The Author(s) of this prog are nothing but a huge pile of Turds! This is not AdWare, this is crippled Freeware. These pigs limit the user to 100 files per session, so any pages this prog is being used for that contains more than 100 files become useless. My anger towards these dirtbags stem from (1)this isn't AdWare-user's are required to pay for the ability to download more than 100 files, to configure from the command line and create batch files, to minimize the program to the Taskbar or System Tray, and to have the prog 'greet you by name'. (2)This prog only downloads 2 files at a time, and these 'Tards want users to give them $28.95 for all of these additional features(DOS batch files can do the same). I have no problem paying for useful software, but this is garbage. I shall uninstall and delete this useless tool, pull down my pants and place my cheeks against the monitor-so the Author(s) can 'greet me by name'.

  3. Review - BuzzOff

    0.9.1.0 (Nov 15, 2002)

Went to the website of this product and saw a 'Purchase' link.....purchase freeware? It seems the author is stating this product is crippled shareware and would like a $10 donation for the full-featured product. The author also states if you send Feedback on the program, then it shall be Free and if you Translate this program to another language for the author it shall be Free. No indication that this program will cripple itself in the near future without the Feedback or Translation response to the author.

  4. Review - MemoryBoost Pro

    2.0 Build 20 (May 16, 2002)

Now we're talkin'! Testing right now, but finding the functions within this program are very good. This program adjusts ReadAheadThreshold, NameCache, PathCache as well-and monitors preset %s in real time. GDI, USER and SYSTEM are also configurable. This program even allows the creation of shortcuts to programs that need additional memory upon Startup-which can be a pain in the a** to configure manually. If you haven't tried this program-you must....If there is a better program, email me please :)

  5. Review - RAMpage

    1.6 (May 15, 2002)

Still looking for a quality Memory Manager that doesn't always require user input. I've been using this one as well as ResMan-both require the user's input everytime memory needs to be freed. The only benefit I find with RamPage is that it offers the ability for a graphical and numeric display from the System Tray-it appears to not work with configurations below 200MB. The search goes on.....

  6. Comment - Microsoft's New "X-Box" Game Powered PC

    1.6 (Mar 8, 2000 - 1:48 AM)

    $200 system=many sales(even under a Windows platform)
Games=Third party Licensing(don't expect original content, except
    Mindsweeper
Peripherals Peripherals Peripherals(it's the hardware, baby!)

Also, expect the Third party licensers to complain to Congress in a few years that Microsoft used 'strongarm tactics', forcing them to develop games for the X-Box and thus producing a profit.
