2.47.00 (May 20, 2008)
This application used to be my favorite mail client. 4 or 5 years ago it swept the floor with Outlook/Eudora/TheBat and all the other clients. Unique features & functionality (by that time), small footprint, direct POP3 access to the server without downloading mails, multiple accounts were managed with ease, etc, etc.
Awfully, it didn't receive any UI or functionality upgrade over these last years, downgrading the user experience. Thunderbird, Claws (on linux), Opera mail client and even Chandler (yeah, it's a PIM, but useful on the comparison) are more decent options. It seems that the developers at RimArts are only focused on fixing bugs, rather than improving the product.
What a shame.
3.0.1 RC1 (Sep 18, 2007)
I've tested this app on the early stages of v3 Beta and it sucked. Period. I've been using Filezilla for quite a long time and i was pretty much dissapointed with v3:
- Lack of features (it seemed like they removed them!)
- Awful new interface (in terms of organization).
Now.. suddenly, we have an RC1 for Beta 3.0.1 which have everything v2 had
- Handful of features
- Intuitive interface
It may not look like SmartFTP, it may not include all the excessive features WS and other ftp clients include, but it's a rock solid application which does what it claims: "a fast and reliable cross-platform FTP".. If I want a bloated ftp client which i can only use in my Windows computer (not my linux one) i'd stick with SmartFTP & co.

Gotta love RootkitRevealer. You should download it now, before M$ starts using WGA on it.. :(

humm.. the "bunch of crazy muslims" wouldn't be so pissed off if those "liars" weren't bombing other countries for their oil. Stop watching CNN and get a life.
And yes, i don't think that we must patch our computers because the state says so.. 1984 anyone?
