  1. Review - Microsoft Sasser (A-F) Worm Removal Tool

    1.0 (May 3, 2004)

The problem with Microsoft is that nearly everyone uses their software. Therefore, people that make malicious software target M$. You can not fault microsoft for releasing security updates to thier software. In fact, you they should be complemented on their quickness when it comes to updates. If you have a problem with this, then try writing a program as indepth as windows and lets see how good at making it secure you are. Also, hackers tend to be very good at what they do, and I'm sure if Linyx were as popular as windows, then their would be more security problems with it.

  2. Review - Quintessential Media Player

    4.0 Build 60 (Aug 31, 2003)

    Brasse,

Your concern with playlist handling appears to me that you use one playlist for all your mp3's. If so, then break down your music into playlists of based on something, maybe genre of music, favorites, or most often played. This would allow QCD to load up your playlists much faster and it wouldn't be bogged down with tracks that you seldom play. If you already do this then great. MAybe you just have too many in each playlist. As for QCD, I think it is a great product. For the last year and a half I have been bouncing back and forth with QCD and Winamp, but with version 4 I have drop Winamp altogether. As for sound quality, I'll leave that up to individuals because I am no expert in the matter, besides everyones hearing abilities and preferences are different. I for one hear little difference between the two

  3. Review - Opera for Windows

    7.0 Beta 1b (Nov 25, 2002)

I would like to give this a better review, but it still does not show text on the menu bar for me. I found that this is due to me having a style xp and when I change it to classic, then the menus are visable. But this sin't acceptable, I shouldn't have to change my operating system to get my browser to work properly. It looks like I will be sticking with 6.05 for the time being

  4. Review - Winamp Title Bar Control for Windows 9x/Me

    4.1.11 (Mar 1, 2002)

I've been using this program for nearly a year. It works well. There are a few minor glitches when you have multiple windows open and continuely change between them. Other than that, I would like to see some sort of skinning ability.
