Comodo Internet Security is designed to be the that integrates Comodo Antivirus, Comodo Firewall and Comodo Defense+ in a seamless manner. We have also fixed many bugs in Comodo Firewall with this release.
Comodo Firewall or Comodo Antivirus can be installed as standalone products by using the same setup.

This is not v5.xxx!
It's v.6.xxx, which is very hard to use.
Reviewing 5.5.195786.1382 (Aug 10, 2011)
Worked Great for me. Now I'm using Avast along with Comodo Firewall only though.
Reviewing 5.3.50343.1237 (May 5, 2011)
It is OK for 32 bit......BUT Comodo has nothing but bugs and slowness in 64 bit!!
I will never use it for 64 bit again!!!!!

This software has protected me for a long time.
Reviewing 5.3.43550.1216 (Dec 31, 2010)
Comodo adds a 5th layer, rootkit detection. This suite is just incredible, and all the average person will ever need. They have even more advanced functionality in the works called DACS. It's a stunning development, and uses pooled definitions from most of the other AV developers.
Reviewing 5.0.32580.1142 (Nov 29, 2010)
I've been using this software for 2 years and I must say I'm very happy with it and its configurability
Reviewing 5.0.163652.1142 (Oct 6, 2010)
Very competent security suite. Comodo has taken the advice of users, and chipped away at problems and deficiencies. All 4 layers of protection work great. It's fast and stable. The definitions are huge, but those of all good AV programs are these days. My favorite feature is, this suite is complete, and you don't need anything else for protection. If something gets through, you're not paying attention. The only problem is, it doesn't white list every legitimate software in the universe, but that's not realistic. I haven't heard it said, so I'll say it: Comodo is now as good as the top 3 commercial suites, while being less resource hungry and more pleasant to use. Thanks for listening Comodo, I will be donating!
Reviewing 5.0.162636 (Sep 18, 2010)
Beautiful piece of software... I recommend it to anyone with a brain
Reviewing 5.0.162636 (Sep 16, 2010)
Now at version 5, I see nothing wrong with this Internet security suite. It's a 4 part suite, the only complete Freeware suite I know of. Comodo's responsiveness to features, bugs, and false positives are as good as any commercial AV. The hit accuracy is now right up there with the best commercial AV's. The GUI is quick, light on resources, and polished. Over the past several months, I have had wishes and a few problems, but now have none. Comodo has addressed every single problem and wish. Do try this program, and if you find something wanting, just let Comodo know.
Reviewing 4.1.149672.916 (Jun 3, 2010)
Well, they fixed the incompatibility with XMPlayer and other compressed EXE files. That's a step in the right direction, and proves they want to do it right. There are many other good fixes and improvements in this release, and I recommend you try it. It's plenty enough protection to run on your main system, with 4 layers of protection. AFAIK, it's the ONLY total package that's free, and it's NOW CLEAN! 2 extra stars for being clean!
Reviewing 4.0.141842.828 (May 10, 2010)
Nice, but quirky.
Absolutely will not allow XMPlay to run, even if you tell it to ignore it. Comodo has known about this problem for 2 months. Shame on them.

Best firewall xD
No need to install anything more from pack... :)
Reviewing 4.0.4167.742 (Mar 19, 2010)
OK, so I like the new one quite a LOT.. except.. ITS SO BLOODY BUGGY!.. The sandbox feature is a real pain as it causes lots of programs to crash when starting so I had to turn that one off..
It worked fine for about 12 hours but after that every few minutes I get a white rectangle in the middle of the screen as if a splashscreen was supposed to be there, but it never goes away.
Looking in the taskmanger theres no indication that anything in comodo has locked up. I thought there might be something conflicting so I installed it on my Acer Aspire 2930 notebook with absolutely NOTHING except windows 7 home premium 64bit and the current set of windowsupdate patches.. left it for like.. 14 hours and the white square had appeared there as well..
If I click the white square (that is on top of EVERYTHING else) windows instantly throws up a box (behind the white box) asking if I wanna close the app, go online and check for a solution or wait.. touch any option and comodo immediately exits.
Did they test it at all? kinda doesnt seem like this to me..
Reviewing 4.0.4167.742 (Mar 5, 2010)
Nice GUI, more intuitive. That was the biggest drawback of 3.x. Runs very fast and efficiently. Unlike Norton, McAfee, and Kasperski, you hardly notice it's there. When checked against all the rest on virustotal.com, it usually finds everything the big boys find.
Reviewing 4.0.4167.742 (Mar 4, 2010)
64bit, works like a charm
firewall is good enough
proactive is great
av too is getting even more score
can't wait for new av comparatives results

Great software firewall from a vendor with very good CS.
There is not a thing wrong with Comodo adding toolbar to keep this program free as long as it can be deselected which it can.
Those complaining about toolbars or ads in free software that can be deselected or not installed should stop being cheap and pay for Pro versions or software in general.
Reviewing 3.12.111745.560 (Sep 18, 2009)
As long as the option is there to not install an ad related toolbar to support the program being free I will use this program and it is not like Comodo is the first company to do this.
CIS is an excellent firewall and has low system impact.
Reviewing 3.10.102363.531 (Jul 22, 2009)
Yep, containing adware in installation is shame but you can disable it...
like in uT ask toolbar etc...
Reviewing 3.9.95478.509 (May 20, 2009)
Its really a shame that Comodo has become, now its a bloatware with adware instalation, some software portal like Softpedia delete Comodo from his list because Comodo refuse to throw away his adware instalation, really really shame.

Reviewing 3.9.74199.494 Beta (Apr 21, 2009)
Outstanding application. I just love how granular the firewall can be (it's a bit of a hassle to really set up correctly for the first time...but so is any firewall in my opinion). This app exceed my expectations and this new beta solved my problem with the firewall incorrectly blocking some traffic from a VMware virtual machine. Anyway, highly recommended.
Reviewing 3.9.74199.494 Beta (Apr 19, 2009)
Im using this on Vistax64 obviously.
For a free app, 5 stars.
Can't complain, but how much longer before they can it?

There is no question that Comod firewall is one of the best free firwalls out but, like most companies, they are trying to everything and the other aspects of this security program fall short. I would rather see Comodo continue to just wokr on improving their firewall and leave the rest out.
To the person that loves this program but doesn't use the anti-virus and uses another anti-virus, I have one question- Why use this program when the standalone firewall is also free?
Reviewing 3.8.65951.477 (Apr 10, 2009)
This is great firewall software... I don't use the antivirus that comes with it, but I do use avira and I used to AVG... I"m trying them all out;... This is a great firewall.... i mean when i see it or touch it with my mouse pointer
i spontaneously have an orgasm

@Sativarg: I am happy to hear that you were not infected by this malware, but at the moment Comodo is creating more problems than it is solving.

This great app CIS just payed for the little time I spent setting up. I was at this page:
and clicked the link to download Cliprex DVD Player Professional
the anti-virus component caught this baddy on the fly before it got out of my browser cache.
the file was not even fully downloaded:
the file was linked from the page:
MVS Player 4.12.68
Avast might have caught this as well and I like Avast but I am also glad to see Comodo do its thing so well.
