feedreader is a bit tricky to figure out, but once you get it down its a great tool to have and use!

Download
http://www.feedreader.co.../FeedReader314Setup.zip
extract the contents to a folder on your USB device
Create a file called feedreader.ini in the same folder
Launch
It automatically creates a new RSSENGINE.FDB in it's own data folder no matter where it's launched from. Update ssl's first

2) is BS
I've been using web.feedreader.com but the options are nil under opera.
use ".\feeds" or whatever name you want for the FR subfolder (enclosures download dir).

Feedreader is the best nonjava RSS read out there.
RSSOwl is current #1
Reviewing 3.14 Beta 2 (Feb 28, 2009)
The best desktop rss reader imo, there's a bunch more going on then what first meets the eye concerning filters and feed managing. The only reader that gives it a run for it's money is RSSOwl, but that one still needs to iron out lots of kinks. The only negative thing I have to say about Feedreader is that it's memory usage is quite high at times, although it seems to have improved slightly with this release.
You can use http://www.google.com/reader or http://www.yesrss.com to read feeds without requiring any downloads / installations
