I'll go neutral on this one. Answer for previous: *.exe files as self extracters is a bad idea for any software if you plan to email something. By default, our email server is set to dispose of exe files as potential virus. And that will also pose a threat if this software takes off. With that in mind, zip and rar files are still best since virus scanners can scan INSIDE the archive and prevent access before a user screws the pooch and spreads a threat.

What is the difference between using this software and the "self-extracting" file (.exe) made by either WinRAR or WinZIP? You can set a strong password encryption (AES-128) on those self-extracting file and the compression rate is much better than Genie 2013...

The interface is friendly enough. I don't have anything to compare it to, so I'm giving it a 4.
