Reviewing 1.0 Beta (Sep 18, 2006)
Hot Damn!
I've been looking for this type of program for a long, long time.
I've been using NetScanTools 4.22, but this is even more compact, prettier, and just as functional!
It has everything I want and nothing I don't!

Ever since win98 I've pined for a winipconfig replacement; this one's pretty good. It also has port scanning and other goodies. One improvement/fix I'd recommend: the DNS server IP addresses run too closely together; they should be separated by commas or semicolons. Also a button to open network settings would be nice, but hey, now I'm just being picky. Well done!
I did get the following error when I closed it during a port scan (easy to do if forget you started a lengthy scan):
"Violation d'acces a l'adresse 00402FAC das le module 'HoverIP.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse FFFFFFFF."
Then when I stopped the scan, the program closed. I tested this a bit and it seems consistent.
It should probably refuse to close until all scans are stopped, or give an Are You Sure in such cases.
Anyway, nice job. Five stars!

Quick, small, and definitely the best freeware program of it's type that I know of. I give it five stars.

Excellent Tool, as an IT professional I can see it being continuously throughout my work day. Having the ports list integrated is a wonderful feature, not to mention all the most useful tools grouped together in one program. 5 Stars!

Works excellent. It doesn't do quite as much as ws_ping_propack - but this thing is free and has all the features that you'd really want. (for example, ws_ping_propack has a 'finger' utility - but how often do you really need that?)
Plus - this has a built in ports table - something that ws_print_propack does not have.
Anyway I give this one a 5. Good job.
