Broke my sound. Was unable to get it back without doing a System Restore. Love the K-Lite codecs, but this was just a disaster for me. With others having good luck, this is just for caution.

I use DVDshrink 3.2 to backup my DVDs. Recently, it stopped opening altogether. The only major system change I'd made recently was to install NetFramework 2.0 to allow for ffdshow enhancements. So, I knew the problem was either related to NetFramework or ffdshow.

After downloading the tweek tool and disabling ffdshow, DVDshrink 3.2 started working again. So now, I just have to remember to temporarily disable ffdshow before using DVDshrink and re-enable it afterward to retain my ffdshow functionality. A simple and elegant solution.
