    Liberty Basic is a very good, although in my opinion, not great Windows alternative to the old MS-DOS Qbasic/Quickbasic.

    It is specially designed for the Windows environment.

    If you want to get an idea what it is like, you could download JustBasic, a FREE and slightly less capable program that is a variation of Liberty Basic. Tinker with that awhile. If you like Justbasic, chances are you will like Liberty Basic a little better.
