  1. Review - ClipMate

    7.2.03 (Mar 7, 2010)

Clipmate 7.3 is BY FAR the best clipboard manager program I've ever used.

I have been using it for a little over a year, and have yet to find fault with it.

  2. Review - WinRAR (32-bit)

    3.91 (Jan 22, 2010)

I've been using Winrar for about 10 years. It was the best general archiver then and still is as far as I know.

If you can't afford the shareware fee give 7-Zip a try. It's free, and it's 95-99% as good, and actually gives slightly better compression in many cases. For many people, buying Winrar when 7-Zip is free will not make sense.

  3. Review - SolSuite 2012

    10.1 (Jan 22, 2010)

SolSuite is great if you like solitaire.

One minor complaint I have is that while the updates are free for a time, they are a hassle to configure.

I would advise trying "123 Free Solitaire" first, (a free cut down version of SolSuite). It gives you a flavor of SolSuite, and is free. Maybe that's all you will want.

  4. Review - Stickies

    6.7a (Apr 20, 2009)

I give it 4+ because it is the best program of it's type I've seen to date. It deserves better than 4, but not 5 in my opinion.

  5. Review - AxCrypt

    1.6.4.1 (Apr 29, 2008)

I am currently using version 1.6.3 so this speaks about that.

I have been using Axcrypt for single file encryption several years now, always with good results.

Something I don't see in the homepage of Axcrypt is a version changes list. It appears that all of the features listed in 1.6.4 I already have in 1.6.3.

Perhaps the release is correcting bugs, although I have never encountered any.
