Did a good job converting a DVD but not before Deinterlace was switched on in Options. You will see it is necessary when there is horizontal disturbing in the rip!

Promising, but did not successfully backup DaVinci code in "Copy disk fully" mode, so I'm not sure how effective it will be until it is updated again. It did work in "Copy Main Movie" mode though. It has some nice features, including converting to Divx, and compared to AnyDVD, offers more features at a lower price. I really hope they can work out the kinks and make some of the code more efficient - seems a bit slow to recognize the disk.

An excellent program - I tried about a dozen different DVD rippers, and this was the only one that functioned smoothly, quickly and unproblematically and with good end results. Unlike with the competing programs you can rip up to five complete DVDs with the trial version, so you have plenty of opportunity to see if it suits your needs and your system. The only slight irritation is that the GUI is a bit amateurish graphically speaking, but it's well organised.
