Publisher's Description
MessengerLog is a good pal for your MSN messenger or Windows messenger. It can record all the messages from MSN messenger or Windows messenger automatically and store them safely. It has an excellent search engine - you can search in the message log with some search condition. The results will be shown in a list, then you can browse in the log which match the search condition and edit the message freely.

What an incredibly useless program for msn messenger users. I can't remember the last version of msn messenger that HASN'T come with the option to 'save chat history'. and as for it saving windows messenger chat logs, well... of the people that visit this website on regular basis, I HIGHLY doubt more then 1% of them are running it. It get's a 1 because 0 isn't available. And it's $20 bucks to boot? ... Brutal.

I might mention that a very long chatlog logged in xml format like this program does can take a wile to open and navigate through, especially when it has winks, voiceclips, and emoticons

Barring the ability to search within the logs via one UI, there's pretty much no reason to pay for this. But with Google Desktop Search quite popular now, it really nullifies the reasons. It does display the fonts and colors that were used, but those are logged by MSN Messenger, so...
