Before I found spyremover, I have used spybotS&D. When I tried spyremover. I haven't gone back to spybot. I would rate this program over spybot. With spybot you get what you pay for.

Spyremover is fully licensed by Pepi's Spybot organization to use the Spybot engine. That is, itcompany.com (the proponent of Spyremover) PAID Pepi to use his Spybot engine. Please see Eric Howes comment to this effect at HERE.

Licensing agreements are legitimate -- nothing new. There are many such licenses in the anti-malware industry. A few of many possible examples: VirusChaser licenses DrWeb engine; AVK licenses the KAV engine, as do eScan & F-secure; Vexeira licenses the VirusBuster engine; Command AV licenses the F-prot engine; Avira is an AntiVir (H+BEDV) clone; and the list goes on. All of these licensees/clones give value added of some sort. The choice is yours.

Spyremover deserves equal rating as Spybot. Spyremover uses Spybot's great engine (just as Counterspy uses Microsoft's AntiSpy engine), but updates more often, & offers better support than the free version.

Proper browser control and safe browsing habits render this otherwise fine piece of software useless. More frequent definition updates vs. Spybot. Avid users of SpyRemover would be better served by reformulating their browsing strategies.

The best anti-spyware program I have ever tried. The support from the company is great. It found more than 20 spy items on my system. Very easy to use and very accurate.

I think this one is much better than any other programs. It is very easy to use and found 15 spyware items on my PC. It is a great product. Other anti spy programs are just too complicated.
