Hi,
This can be great..Streamripper is an open source application that lets you record streaming mp3 to your hard drive.

Must-have software for those of us who want some random tunes but can't be online all the time. Tip for Winamp users: Streamripper opens up a second copy of the stream you're listening to whenever you tell it to start ripping. To conserve bandwidth, hit the 'relay' button after you start ripping. A new item should appear in your playlist, probably something like "localhost:8000". Thats the pass-through of the stream your actually ripping. Listening to that one will stop the redundant stream and save your bandwidth.

"...all you have to do is get Audacity 1.3.5 and click on that list box and choose "Stereo Mixer Input" and click the RECORD button"
You probably have an older computer as new drivers from most manufacturers (SoundMAX, Creative, etc..) do not allow to use Stereo Mix because RIAA is "concerned with illegal recordings". Be warned!

REPLY TO ANDREY:
I did not know that the new versions did that. I have a new computer as my second computer, and it's a Gateway, but the onboard sound was cruddy so I put in an Aureal Vortex 2 Card. That must be why it works. Thank you for letting me know.
I did find a quick fix though. You can setup Virtual Box 2.0.4 (free), install a virtual machine of Windows XP or Vista with sound enabled and then use Audacity to record the Stereo Mix.
It's a lot to do, but it works.
Anyway, thank you.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Pretty decent app, and the price is right.
But then you find out that all you have to do is get Audacity 1.3.5 and click on that list box and choose "Stereo Mixer Input" and click the RECORD button, so you give it a lower score and move on...
