If this is what can be done with .Net Framework (an astonishing FTP & download manager fitted in less than 400kB) than I'm reconsidering my opinion of .Net Framework. WideStream is a very nice product, loads fast, runs fast, nice features (the 'Url crawler' is a pleasure), compact, smart. Integrates with Opera 9 and IE 6/7/8, not with Firefox at this time.

So this thing is writtent in C#... and what exactly would be wrong with that? It runs as fast as any other download manager even on my old Celeron with 256MB RAM with WinXPSP3.

Nice try, but making it in .net significantly dampens the appeal. At least it's free.
dhry: It takes up 13-20 MBs of memory. So, being built in .NET isn't as bad for it as you think.
