si.Mail is an e-mail client written in Delphi.

• IMPR: Attachment view skips creating of mailboxes with ? or * in extension part. Please rebuild attachment view for changes to take effect
• IMPR: Improved speed of parsing messages sent via MAPI
• FIX: Fixed division by zero in images attachment preview plug-in
• FIX: Send at least 1 byte for total mailbox size so in case we are unable to parse server’s response we don’t get division by zero error
• FIX: Reset countdown for next server message check, if we’ve done it manually
• FIX: si.Mail not adding attachments to message if they were sent via MAPI
• FIX: Wrong urlEncode function used, so some characters were not encoded this resulted in si.Mail hanging in rare cases
• FIX: Fixed exception when sending message and connection to server failed
• FIX: exception division by zero if only one item was in the mailbox and group by was used

Decent mail client. Works with GMail. Has a somewhat FoxMail look and feel. Appears to be portable, like so many other Delphi programs.The spell checker rocks! I like the themes, and I like the attachment compression list. I would like a user-assigned temporary working folder for attachments, and a way to back up your inbox, outbox, and sent items. Good work, keep it going! A small, clean alternative to FoxMail is needed.

Well, couldnt make it work. Got one error with libeay32.dll, then after going to the forums and reading the fix, got another 'dll' error. Well, at that point I got annoyed. Still, I will look for the future releases.

>I was unable to access gmail pop and smtp. Well you need to download a separate libraries for gmail to work. However. I'm fine with him and 0.7 series include those libraries out of the box. Author says that 0.7 series is stil not for general use, but i'm using it from January, and it works like charm.

Sorry for the poor rating. This program is still in development and has alot of work to do. For instance, it will only work with basic server settings. I was unable to access gmail pop and smtp. But I see great potential here. I love the layout and the features. I will keep an eye on it and try another version down the road. Keep up the good work Si.
