  1. Review - Picasa for Windows

    3.1 Build 70.71 (Dec 18, 2008)

It's just a great program! the whole watch/tag/upload/fix experience is so much easier...

btw, this review was written on "Picasa for Windows 3.1 Build 70.71". -- At 1st glimpse I wondered if they started to support Windows 3.1 ;-)

  2. Review - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi

    2.15.004 (Nov 6, 2007)

I've been using Creative products for well over a decade, started from Soundblaster 1.5, on the SB16 and so on. Today I own an X-Fi & Audigy.

Yet, lately I feel very disappointed on the way Creative is delivering drivers. The very long delays and sometimes very unprofessional bugs make we wonder if I should stay with this company's products.
Here's a quick example - my HTPC has X-Fi with Windows Media Center; There's a silly bug where you have to uncheck/check the digital out box every restart - otherwise no sound is heard (connected to my receiver)
Now - this solution is written all over the forums, but it's like that for OVER ONE YEAR now! I expect a serious company to fix those things quickly.

My 2 cents (and stars ;-))

  3. Review - 4NT

    5.00 Build 129 (Mar 19, 2004)

I've been an avid used of 4Dos/4nt for the past ~10 years. Can't really live without it!

  4. Review - Winamp 5 Full

    Beta 1 (Oct 16, 2003)

I like it, although it looks more like an improved winamp2. The way that it reacts is very similar to v2.x, could it be they decided to drop the winamp3 engine and go back to the old one?

  5. Review - SQL Stripes Enterprise

    0.50 Beta Build 190 (May 21, 2003)

starbuck73 / all , please notice that this IS A BETA version software, hence it's a no-brainer that it should not be installed on a Production SQL Machine but rather ran from another machine in the same network.
Please send emails reporting any bugs or features requests.
    Thanks.

  6. Comment - This is not a PC: Microsoft debuts Windows Phone 7 Series

    0.50 Beta Build 190 (Feb 16, 2010 - 2:49 AM)

I'm actually not that impressed and honestly think it's "too little too late".
I even wrote a few lines about it - see here: http://bit.ly/aIWNvq

  7. Comment - GPS in 3D may be coming to the US

    0.50 Beta Build 190 (Mar 5, 2008 - 1:57 AM)

I tend to agree with Hollywood. As much as I love 3D, when I use my GPS, I usually listen to the voice instructions and rarely even look at the screen. I assume most people do - otherwise the road would look like a warzone
