I thought FastStone Capture was great when it was free and its only gotten better since it became shareware. Some of my favorite features are the ruler and the quick and easy video capture, both are new since the free version.
The ruler is a must have for anyone working on websites. The video capture is great for recording a quick "how-to" for anything.
As someone else said if you liked the free version, you can still use it for free, but I think the new version is well worth the $20.

The greatest full-screen viewer I've found.
If you haven't tried it, check out the
active edges of this viewer.
It just keeps getting better. I use it
instead of Adobe Albums or Bridge ...
now I can edit multiple pictures in
Photoshop with a single click of the E.
