1.4.2 Beta (Feb 23, 2011)
I've been using on Vista and WIn7 since they were released and it works great.
2008 (15.0.0.58) (Aug 29, 2007)
The 2008 line cut the resource use dramatically. This is one of the most efficient versions I've seen Symantec release in years. If you haven't tried it, stop knocking it.
2008.0.0.21 (Jul 20, 2007)
Have any of you actually tried recent editions of Norton products? The 2007 line was completely redone and is a nice set of tools. From the looks of the 2008 public beta, the 2008 line will be even better.
2.6.0.140 (Jun 13, 2007)
I think this is a typo. According to Skype's web site, Skype for Mac OS X is still on 2.6, not 4.6.
2007 Beta (10.0.0.1) (Jan 16, 2007)
Have you even tried the 2007 version? It's been completely redesigned from the ground up. Performance is greatly improved and many enhancements have been made to the product.
2007 Beta (10.0.0.1) (Jan 14, 2010 - 11:43 AM)
I don't think so. McAfee products do not touch my computer.
2007 Beta (10.0.0.1) (Sep 11, 2009 - 12:26 AM)
I believe you mean Norton Internet Security 2010 and Norton AntiVirus 2010. In terms of versioning, NIS 2010 is actually NIS 17, not 10.
2007 Beta (10.0.0.1) (Aug 5, 2009 - 12:05 AM)
This build (3.5.2) seems to be problematic. As with other users on here, FF is randomly and frequently crashing on me.
2007 Beta (10.0.0.1) (Jul 6, 2009 - 11:38 PM)
This is resolved in newer builds of Win7
2007 Beta (10.0.0.1) (Jan 5, 2009 - 11:56 PM)
I've got an OS X server box running and it's a pretty rock solid machine. Those with hate for OS X typically haven't even given it a shot - they just like to flame cause they have nothing better to do with their time.
