  1. Review - WindowBlinds

    6.01 Build 40 (Nov 8, 2007)

I used this many years ago on Windows 2000. I decided to use it again on my Vista machine. I didn't find it restrictive at all on the themes I wanted to install. In fact I was able to install any of the free themes available. This allowed me to really see what it could do to the Vista Aero interface. I decided to purchase it and I am not disappointed. For those that complain about it being a resource hog, well it's no more of a hog than many of the chat clients that people use. I gave it 4 stars, it does what it says it does and does it well. It hasn't crapped out or crashed my machine in any way.

  2. Review - Aston2 Menu

    Beta 1 (Sep 10, 2007)

You guys all rated it based on how much u liked it, not based on how well it worked, if at all. Personal preference is just that, personal, so what you dont like, others may like. I'm rating a 3 just to try and bring up the low rating due to personal preferences. I have Linux, therefore I cannot use this utility to see if it works as described.

  3. Review - Windows Updates Downloader

    2.23 Beta Build 842 (Oct 31, 2006)

I'm glad I read the review that told you how to get the .ashx files installed into the application. I have tried this application on several occasions as it has gotten great reviews, but I have never been able to get it to load the update lists, until now. Downloading the updates as I type this. Giving it a 4 for not detailing how to install the update list.

  4. Review - Fresh Download

    7.58 (Aug 15, 2006)

I tried that fix also and it did not work for me either. It took me re-installnig my system to figure out why my IE didnt work. I dont normally reboot my machine, so I didnt realize it was fresh download that killed it. Only afer a reboot did I notice.

2 stars as I never even got it to work.

  5. Review - WebEQ

    2.6 (Jul 7, 2006)

Didn't see a "lite" version anywhere on the website, only time limited demo. Not freeware in my book.
