Mouse Hunter is a free utility that optimizes the work with the mouse wheel under MS Windows. When you rotate the mouse wheel scroll the UI element, that is located under the mouse cursor. But not the element, that has the input focus (which responds to input from the keyboard) - as it usually does in Windows.

    1. Icon on tray need for settings and beginner users.

    2. This software is freeware.
I did make this software for me, for me, and for me. But not for You :).
Settings dialog is the test of other technologies of programming (HTMLayout). But settings dialog does not work permanently, only for settings (see to size of the file MhConfig.exe, and compare with size of running module MhAgent.exe)

I wonder why this one needs a tray icon for this simple task. And a settings dialog. Bloated. But it works, so: 2 stars.

WizzMouse is better, uses less memory, and has no bugs like this.

    Sorry, i not understand...
You wish what Mouse Hunter will be NOT WORK with closed comboxes? But, work with opened (with popup list in visible state) combobox? Is it?

PS: Also You can contact me on official we site (, part "Support")

The combo box would scroll when I did not want it to. the box is closed and scrolls if the row is selected. I wanted the window to scroll if the mouse was not over a combo box. it is hard to not select a row in that program. If you set a combo box to a desired setting then wish to move down to another setting you must use the scroll bar because if you use the wheel you lose the setting.

It is a bad design on the part of NVIDIA Inspector so I am sorry to have bothered you with it.

If I set Mouse Hunter setting
no scroll is middle button Checked
then the program IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide stops responding if I mess up and scroll the wheel. But this does not matter because the mouse I have now does not have the problem of scrolling when I try to middle click. I do not need the setting.
So again I am sorry to bother with trivial messages.
