Desktop Lock is a powerful utility that can lock all items on your computer, including the mouse, keyboard, desktop, etc. When your desktop has been locked, no one can modify your documents (even those currently open), access your computer to browse your documents, or modify anything on your PC. An intruder also cannot reboot by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del. It provides additional helpful and useful options.

From the program description: "An intruder also cannot reboot by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del"... well this is misleading, as pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del on a locked Windows does not give the option to reboot it.

I guess it does what is says, but if you really, really, really need another program to lock your box except for the build in Windows functionality, then notice that the internet is full of alternative, freeware toys.

Just to pick the first google result...

I agree. Who needs this. All the major OS's have lock capabilities bult in. And if you don't have it. Then your OS is too old.

This app is one GREAT desktop lock application - in fact, the best I have found. It allows the user to select their screensaver or whatever verbiage they want displayed while the desktop is disabled. Many options set this app apart from other apps of this type. The ONLY reason I did not give it 5 stars instead of 4 is that I feel it should be priced just a bit less...

    We don't need this really:
-User the normal WINDOWS lock option
it works for a lot of Applications.
We save now money, because this solution is free :-)
