Great product, though it should NOT be on this site as it is not software per-se, and it has its very own distribution site at www.joomla.org

Nowhere NEAR as flexible and user-friendly as XOOPS (www.xoops.org).

What are the changes? Not for a novice, editor even when getting your own does not allow for full editing. WordPress still seems to be best even if the website seems a little bloggy. Someone suggested Movable Type. but not all hosts give you root access to install. Well mine does for a extra monthly fee. Till that allows for a install like WP or Joomla forget it.
