I don't know why people complain about the quality with regard to Miro. The quality is up to the broadcaster, not the application. It's built on VLC; it can do whatever quality you throw at it as long as your PC is powerful enough. There are a LOT of 720x480 and even 1280x720 channels (like Revision3's stuff) available.

Not enough channels? Every channel I've looked for has been there - certainly most podcast channels available for free on iTunes.

Complaints about streaming video!? This ISN'T streaming. Anyone who reads even the shortest accurate description of this, much less actually uses it, knows this. WTH?

Great app. The fact that it's open source and cross-platform makes it better. The fact that it makes videocasting cheaper through Bittorrent makes it even better still.

The interface is relatively good, and will improve. It's still a relatively young program, and very successful considering that.

My monitor is bigger than my TV and its resolution is also higher as well and I have a 15 Mbit cable connection. Someone is behind the times.....

Not so bad. You can save YouTube videos to your local drive to replay them when you want, which is cool, but I do agree - the interface is a bit wonky.

Please explain to me why someone would want to watch anything on a computer screen when you can get a better picture on your tv. Resolution is better and you don't get the stuttering effect as on streaming stuff.
