Stardock's TweakVista enhancement application helps you configure Windows Vista to meet your personal needs by improving performance. Unlike other power tools for Windows, it automatically prompts enhancement recommendations, offering easy "one click" updates to otherwise complex configuration changes. It is also safe to use. By utilizing Microsoft's system-restore technology any changes you make can easily be rolled back. You can freely experiment with different settings without disabling your computer.

Looks useful in theory, but the trial version wouldn't work at all on my system - as soon as I started the program, its main window froze. My system runs very well apart from this, so I can only suppose there's some glitch in the program.

This program is worth the money for those who don't want to mess with registry settings or don't know how. Plenty of useful information included as well. An even better value when you already have ObjectDesktop since its part of it.
I rarely use it, since once I set things, that's all I need for awhile. Still its organized very well and makes figuring out what changes will do pretty easy, and simply restore function.

What do you people have against vista? It's a beautiful operating system. It's just a little different and you're afraid of change.... it's been improved in many useful ways... why didn't you stick with freakin' windows 98 if you wanna hang out in the past?

Most of what this program does can be done in the registry and other areas of vista. I tried this program on a vista test machine I have and its a waste of money. These people know vista is already going downhill and they are just cashing in. Be warned. You want tweaks and speed as well stability on a windows os? Stay with XP!

Seems a rip-off to me. You can't use most of the functions in this version (Trail). What sort of non forward thinking is that!

The programme once paid for may be useful to non technical persons, but more experienced users can achieve the required results manually and for free.
