Just looked at the asking price in GB-£'s on the home page - They must think I've dropped off a Christmas tree. Get your head round this:-

    Big Zipper includes:
    WinZip Pro
    WinZip Courier
    WinZip Self Extractor
Now- (Actually this is a special offer) £73.85 - At today's exchange rate that's around $113 - For a bloody zipper! The GB-£ is actually worth around $1.55 yet Win-Zip charge the same price in GB Pounds as US Dollars.

Despicable. Use WinRar if you want the best.

I would be most interested if anyone from Win-Zip could explain this?

In fact even a score of 1 is too high, as WinZip deserves a big ZERO.
Please NEVER buy or support WinZip.
    They are crooks.
WinZip reneged, cheated, lied, fooled, and screwed their customers by promising that they will provide "LIFETIME" free updates and upgrades, then went back on this promise.
I will never buy any sh*t from this evil company.
    Shame on WinZip.
WinZip can go to hell. They also have the chutzpah to ask $50 for their Pro version.
If you want the best software, then get WinRAR from www.rarlab.com, it is only $29.
I also recommend these 2 programs, both are better than WinZip and are FREE:
    7Zip @ http://www.7-zip.org
    PeaZip @ http://peazip.org

I updated WinZip today using the "EXPRESS" mode like I always do. What a mistake. First I had to uncheck an offer to to have them install Kaspersky trialware over my favorite already paid for firewall suite (We all know how that would go right?). Then I declined WinZip's desires to have information about my use sent to them. But the last straw was the brand new "UNWANTED" toolbar.

I used the "FORCED UNINSTALL" feature in Revo Uninstaller Pro to get rid of the WinZip Toolbar. The uninstaller for this toolbar can be located in it's own folder in the programs file folder. However, Revo still had to clean up a "BIG MESSY TRAIL" left over after the uninstaller ran.

Thank you WinZip. After paying for your services, I now have to pay to uncheck your affiliate ads that come integrated into the installer wrapper. Those who use the "EXPRESS INSTALL" end up wasting valuable time figuring out how to rid them selves of the "UNWANTED" toolbar from all of their browsers. Wow!

I had upgrade assurance for this software for the last few years, but I think I'm going to have to dismiss your software from my life now. I had some choice words for you folks at Corel, but I will decline to express them here because they are less than complimentary.

    (((UPDATE - I now use 7-Zip)))

When I bought WinZip, I was assured of free Life Time upgrades.
Guess what? I now have to pay to get upgraded...WTF?
A deal is a deal, if you can't uphold your part...then issue a freaking refund.
I'm done with WinZip because they don't even abide by their own written agreements.
