nnCron is an advanced scheduler, reminder, and automation manager with a powerful scripting language. great program, the developers are these brilliant Russian guys. They often are gone for long periods of time between support inquiries but when they do come around they are quick to help and solve problems. The program keeps getting better and is quite stable and robust. I use it for a whole laundry list of stuff including controlling the lighting in my reptile cage to automatically downloading files from the web to synchronizing my clock with the atomic servers or even simple alarms and reminders. Small and efficient, and if you decide to learn Forth, you can pretty much do anything with this as they expose all the WinAPIs etc...

This program is possibly one of the best utilities I have downloaded in a long time. The possibilities with regards to what you can do with nncron is endless. Superb! The helpfile comes with lots of samples. To get the most out of this proggie, you will have to take a look at these samples. The interface is good enough, but for some of the advanced things you can do with nncron, read the helpfile
