AnyDVD HD 6.4.5.3 Beta beta
Publisher's Description:
AnyDVD allows you to decrypt CSS encrypted DVDs on the fly. Insert your CSS- (Content Scrambling System) and RPC (Region Code Protected) - protected DVD into your DVD drive. It will detect it and automatically remove the protection. It only takes a few seconds. Even if your drive is not region-free, immediately you'll get a chance to watch movies that don't match your drives region code.

Just experienced a rather unusual bug where the disc did not jump directly to the main movie but instead to the special features menu on 27 dresses. Not a show stopper, but a bug none-the-less which has been reported to slysoft via their support email system. 4/5 for a minor annoyance.

Continually updated for all new protections. This is by far the single most useful program on my PC. I love being able to remove protections from my BRD's without having to do anything. Just insert the disc, and it works. Top notch!

Betanews should start removing the opportunity to review some of the programs, because this program is a great example of fanboys vs. fanboys, the first rating it 5 to compensate for the 1 the other gave and the other way around. Quit posting your useless repetitive rubbish, one or two posts are enough to make your point clear. Get a life!
Now ontopic: what I love about this program is four things:
1. you can combine it with many other programs, for instance Nero Recode or DVD Shrink
2. it works miracles
3. if it doesn't work miracles, you just have to wait for one of the regularly released updates
4. you do not have to pay for updates, it's a lifetime investment
One downside: HD costs extra. But let's be honest, they have something unique. In my opinion that's worth paying for, and it sound logical. If I would spend hours, days, weeks or even months on cracking something that seems uncrackable, I wouldn't think about giving it away for free. On top of that, I don't even know how to crack.

Just a small fix. I never encountered the issue. Same old wonderful AnyDVD.
