A great opportunity for folks to validate and use a GENUINE Microsoft product key. WGA prodcut activation and so forth is not a problem for me since I legally own my software.

Any errors or issues with WGA or activation cannot be blamed on the creator of the program, but the little script kiddies that think they are l33t by using pirated software.

I pre-ordered XP, and have been using it since first release. I have never had a problem with WGA or product activation. I reinstall usually about every 6 months out of choice, not necessity, and have never had a problem activating my product either online or by phone.

Microsoft is taking steps to help people to legally own their products, making it easy, and apparently without retribution. Good program, good job. (And yes, I used it)

Ravemanson, the purpose of these reviews is to review a particular application based on it's merits (or lack of) not go off about silly political or philosophical views.

Ran this program on my legit Windows XP and it gave me the option to change my key... not sure how it would react on a illegitimate version.

ravemanson - Well if I had just bought a new computer from a store and it came with windows, I'd want it to be a legal copy.

Metshrine - Did you try to run it on MCE 2005? Cause that would be ridicilious if its not one of the OS's supported - seeing how it's really XP Pro with some goodies added onto it (like the XP Tablet edition).

Um, the people who actually have a pirated copy of XP are usually the ones who don't want to have a genuine, aren't they...?
