Oracle VirtualBox is becoming worse. It drains CPU to much now. It is unstable, after the virtualbox updated, some times guest image broken....
I have almost touched all of the virtual machines since 2002. Currently VMware and XEN-based are the only choice if you want stable.
Reviewing 4.1.72578 Beta 1 (Jul 2, 2011)
So does the Linux version of this beta finally support Aero Glass on a 64-bit Windows 7 guest? My computer has a Core 2 Q9400 quad core CPU with 8GB RAM along with ATI Radeon 4770 graphics and yet 64-bit Windows 7 runs at a snail's pace under Fedora 15. It doesn't matter if I use KVM, VirtualBox or VMware.
Reviewing 4.0.8.71778 (May 20, 2011)
MUCH better, especially the USB implementation but the "can't delete snapshot because of extra child hard disk" stupidity still persists.
For someone who uses snapshots A LOT, this is extremely objectionable.
FOUR stars.
