Latest Changes:

• FIXED: The map(s) selected in the "Wallpaper" tab of the Weather Watcher Options window were not the same maps that were displaying as the wallpaper

This used to be a very good and reliable program until Mike Singer started messing around with it again and released "updates" that broke more than they fixed. I agree with the previous post... use a sidebar gadget such as the one for Weather Underground or The Weather Channel. Wait on this until there's a truly FINAL and well-tested program release.

@dhry, both programs are free. The "live" version is able to retrieve weather data from weather stations that are recording the weather nearly every second of the day. The data that is fed into Weather Watcher is only recorded about every 20-minutes -- clicking update has no effect on that update interval.

Great program. Answer to previous reviewer's question: I'd just use this version. This one's free, the other one isn't, and you can find out your weather with both. I don't know what the whole "live" thing is all about but you can get this program to update weather with a click. Simple.

So what's better to use then.. - this Weather Watcher or Weather Watcher Live? ...and what's the main difference between those two?
