Yep 175.16 does indeed prevent Remote Desktop from working on some computers. Anyone can confirm if 177.35 fixes that ? Ive gone back to 174.74beta and RDP is working now.

Can someone try the 177.x series drivers and check to make sure remote desktop connections still work? 175.x broke the hell out of RDP sessions (filled my event log with a bunch of rdpdd.dll errors because the video driver was broken somewhere)

But it only says above that it ADDED support for the two new cards. I didn't interpret that as meaning "But we removed support for all other Nvidia cards on the planet." So yeah, I'm confused. :(
UH-OH - I am getting an Nvidia Setup Error that says the following:
"The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."
That can't be good, right? Score down to 1 cause it won't even install on my rig. How did THAT problem make it by their testers?
Original Post:
Wow! Two WHQL certified drivers this close together - that has GOT to be a good thing, right?
First 175.16 WHQL and now 177.35 WHQL.
All I need is a changelog and I'll be giddy!
I'll give 'em a 3 for now cause I have not had time to install it and run bunches of tests with my games and stuff, but I'll come back and update the score to be fair. If I can just get it to stop crashing while I play Rise of the Witch King with Anti-Aliasing on, then that would be a huge improvement for me.
Since I have an 8800GT and it's a recent card, instead of an older legacy card, I'm hoping that some of these fixes will actually be targeted at making it run better and more stable.
Thanks Nvidia, for at least trying to make the effort to get these bugs fixed faster.
