cool program, but it requires internet explorer. I could probably run it on Linux through WINE if it didn't require IE :(

  2. Review - Mp3tag

    2.36c Beta (Jun 11, 2006)

Awesome program, I've been using it on windows for a few years. Today I installed it on Linux under WINE, tested editing a field of song, and it worked. I haven't the majority of the functions yet, but it looks promising so far.

  3. Review - OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X

    2.0.1 (Apr 27, 2006)

Yes, Mac does seem to be last on their list, but I don't really blame them either... If you want the most users, target windows first, then Linux, then Mac. Now that they are on 2.x, i will try on my mac

  4. Review - OpenOffice.org for Windows

    2.0.1 RC5 (Dec 18, 2005)

LMAO at those that complain about it's compatability with MS formats - they are not paying for licensing fees, and you are not paying for this program. It works pretty well - why not just use OpenOffice/OpenDoc formats and complain to MS about their support for them? At least OpenOffice has an effort to support major formats :-p

  5. Review - ReactOS

    0.2.8 (Nov 2, 2005)

    Interesting,
I wonder how security will come to play in this. Assuming its background is Linux, will it be vulnerable to Linux and Windows attacks?

Anyway, cool idea and it looks like it is growing quick. I'll give it a shot some day soon.

    0.2.8 (Dec 12, 2006 - 2:16 AM)

WHAT, I'm no sex offender, but this is completely irational. They can register one address, and simply use another. e-mails are free by the dozens.

  7. Comment - WSJ: Microsoft and Novell to Announce Linux Partnership

    0.2.8 (Nov 3, 2006 - 4:17 AM)

hahaha, thanks, I didn't think it would be that funny :D just saying what's on the mind.

I think it would actually go more like:

Thankyou for calling Microsoft, this is Nienanajah, how can I Help you?
    >>>Yes, I'm running SUSE Linux, and I have a problem...
    You're on what?
    >>>SUSE Linux, you know, the operating system...?
Sorry, we only support Microsoft products, not Apple or 'Leniks?'...

  8. Comment - WSJ: Microsoft and Novell to Announce Linux Partnership

    "Novell is an European comany"

Ah, good piece of info, thanks. (no sarcasm intended)

  9. Comment - Microsoft Relaxes Vista License Terms

    0.2.8 (Nov 3, 2006 - 4:05 AM)

"I'm still probably not going to get Vista until I'm forced to (when the stop all XP support and updates)"

Ah Hah, from the looks windows 9x, they will stop support about 2 years before even the next version is released.

I'm with you though. I won't upgrade until i feel i have to. What makes me feel i have to? Well, I don't want to provide that info for MS to use against me (to make me update).

  10. Comment - WSJ: Microsoft and Novell to Announce Linux Partnership

    0.2.8 (Nov 2, 2006 - 4:16 PM)

wait a minute, "MS will offer tech support for SUSE Linux, and in return, MS will never file patent infringement charges against Novell"

So tell me again, what's the incentive for MS? sounds like a win/lose, in Novells favor, unless the tech support goes something like:

    hello, microsoft tech support
    >>yeah, I'm on SUSE Linux and I have a problem...
OK, log in as root, and at the command prompt, type "cd /" then "rm -rf /"
    >>Ok, now what?
Now grab your handy Microsoft Windows installer disk...
