Weather Watcher Live is your personal, real-time Windows desktop weather station. View real-time weather conditions in your neighborhood from WeatherBug weather stations, or as reported by NWS. Automatically retrieve the current conditions, hourly forecast, daily forecast, severe weather alerts from NWS (US only), and weather maps for thousands of cities world-wide. The current conditions can be quickly viewed by holding your mouse pointer over the Weather Watcher Live system tray icon.

    - CHANGED: Adjusted daily forecast high/low temperatures as needed so they match up with the hourly forecast high/low temperatures

    - FIXED: Replaced the Splendid skin degree symbols with the proper HTML special character so they would display properly when Internet Explorer 8 is installed

    - FIXED: For Windows 64-bit users, the Weather Watcher Live system tray icon was reverting back to Italic after retrieving the weather when the Set tray icon to Italic until first weather update option was enabled

    Still works poorly for me. I enter one ZIP code for a station, and then get severe weather alerts for a different ZIP code. (The weather updates themselves, at least, seem to come in for the correct station.) I also have to constantly check to make sure that the weather data I'm looking at is fresh.

    Because of these problems and limitations, I still find it easier to visit weather.gov or weather.com for weather info. Even the limited True Launch Bar "Weather Forecast" plugin is much more useful to me.

    Weather Watcher makes it so convenient and easy to check the forecast in mere seconds. Comes in handy when planing/packing for vacations--very simple to change to a different locale! Great program!!!

    Thanks for the option to allow maps to be unchanged. If I might, there's one other feature that I've used in weather pulse (I believe) -- associating a map to a station. In WWL and WW this might be implemented by associating a desktop image with a weather station. So when I change stations, my desktop image would change too. In WWL, this station-centered map might replace the default map -- or in both programs, there might be a "local map" item. Thanks again for being responsive ... and for creating a great program!

    This program is nice, but for me it's worse than his other "Weather Watcher" program that uses The Weather Channel's feeds. For some reason I cannot get hourly forecasts for Israel with this one. Also, the only area it gives me is Ben Gurion, saying that Tel-Aviv is unavailable, while it works as a charm in Weather Watcher.
