6 tabs open without flash content, 48% of CPU usage and 312MB of memory consumption, I'm user of firefox since v1.5 and I saw the downfall since v4 to this crap, I'm really tired of it, I think I'll try opera or be back to FF v3.6.20 since I dislike chrome too.

On Windows 7 SP1, the file system shield it slowdown the startup and the execution of applications considerably. On a plane Windows 7 (without SP) avast 7 also produce BSODs.
I'm using avast since v4 and I've to tell that this is the most unstable and bloated version I've tried. A shame.

Does this program allow you to open several files at once in tabs? NO
Can you apply filters or adjust the image contrast/brightness to several pictures at once? NO
Can you see recursively the content of a folder and subfolders at once? NO
Can you preview video, audio and documents with this program? NO
so like I said it's a nice fancy viewer but basic compared with Xnview.
4.4 (Apr 4, 2011)
Nice Viewer but lacks of the ability to open multiple images like Xnview, neither can apply filters or adjust images in batch mode. Xnview in the other hand can do that and much more. Too basic for my taste.

I have been using avast 5 in win7 for a year and never had a problem, now with v6 I get a bsod because of avast sandbox, I really wish that this feature could be optional in the setup, I don't like it at all. v5 was outstanding, v6 is unstable and intrusive in my opinion. BTW I don't like the gadget neither..
